Domo Arigato Mr. Roberto, Domo...Domo

"I think I’m going Japanese, I think I’m going Japanese; I really think so….."

Last Friday I had a date with 4 lovely ladies…King’s Wife & her princesses and Lil’ Joy.
Actually, two aunties and two adolescents lah! And it’s was a bet long overdue because I had to slog day and night to stinge and save for this dinner over the last few months since it’s gonna cost an arm and a leg…. *Bawl*

This place is so Zen….

After makan can cam-whore some more…..

We were quite noisy and the next room was full of Japanese executives having a serious dinner/discussion while some of us were laughing hysterically…

Like this incident where King’s wife bungled while setting the timer on her camera and thought she already done so. We posed, held our breath and smile until our jaws crammed…while waiting for the flash & click that never came.

Luckily, Sam saved the day. If you are in doubt about these techie gadgets, ask the nearest kid.

Verdict: it was worthwhile! The food was great and the company was excellent!
Japanese food being Japanese food, I was hungry again at 1am and had to go for a mutton soup and nasi lemak at the mamak’s.

Ever wonder why the Hongkies are such a pain in the arse??

Alas.....
the bar-crawl thirst-quenching adventure begins...

This piaomei must be waiting for Linpeh.....but that barger didn't show up

Boozing buddies and colleagues.....Max & Joe

It was around closing time that this pub started playing a familiar tune and for a moment it was as if I was transported back in time.....

"One more glass of wine
Just for auld lang syne
And the girl I left behind
How I miss her now
In my darkest hour
And the way our arms entwine

Chorus
Seagull carry me,
over land and sea
To my own folk, that's where I want to be
Every beat of my heart
Tears me further apart
I'm lost and alone in the dark
I'm going home

And we'll drink a toast
To the blood red rose
Cheer a while
the Emerald Isle"

WTF! I must be drunk. Time to hit the sack.

It's Been A Hard Day's Night....Part 1

And I've slogging and toiling at Hongkie land…….

too much sinful indulgence.......

and endless supply of liquid sustenance a flowing …….

Educational tours for Lin-Cocka-Wingz students........

I took a walk down memory lane at Stanley….
There were no longer push-cart stalls like it used to be. The traders are now more orderly, and they have found permanent location in many of the wooden shops. Gone are the days peddlars were heard yelling; "Chao Kwai Arr!!!" as they frantically push their carts during police raids.

A short hike to a hill at the fringe of Stanley market, there’s an ancient well located at a shrine where Ms. CX and I made a wish many donkey years ago. Obviously, it didn’t come true, so I’m here to retrieve my coin…and pee in it!

After that bit of nostalgia...it's off to some serious shopping.......

To be cont'd..................
