Drink Driving....

A friend of mine forwarded this to me. Think I might just give it try after being stopped twice.....diu!! And each time it's RM300 bucks 'on the spot fine'.

Only an Aussie could pull this one off!

From the State where drink driving is considered a sport, comes a true story from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a local neighbourhood tavern. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the car park for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five vehicles, the man managed to find his car which he fell into.He was there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off (it was a fine dry night),flicked the indicators on, then off, tooted the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few cm, reversed a little and then remained stationary for a few more minutes as some more vehicles left.

At last he pulled out of the car park and started to drive slowly down the road. The police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and carried out a Breathalyser test. To his amazement the Breathalyser indicated no evidence of the man having consumed alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the Police station this Breathalyser equipment must be broken.

"I doubt it," said the man, "tonight I'm the designated decoy".

True story...

Comments:
OMG this is farneeee, I gotta try this on the cops here, they very free wan, really sek pao mo yeh cho... hehe

Haha.. this is a good way to con the police..

but I don't drink..

flyboy.....yeah,those guys are usually quite free; coffee in one hand, doughnut on the other. LOL

ZMM....but our local cops are quite ingenius when it comes to making money. They normally seal off all the exit roads leading out of KL or Bangsar or Kiara so there is no way to get out.
Why is zara convering her nose and mouth in that pic? You farted ah? LOL

LOL this is a good one!!

OK, I share with you something I heard during someone's wedding dinner. The details might be a bit wrong, but, the moral of the story is there.

This gentleman whom I sat next to told me:

He drove to Penang once. He's not a seasoned driver coz only once in a blue moon, he drives outstation. Nearing the bridge, there was an ad-hoc road block. (you know those suspiciously setup one!!) Car with outstation number plates were pulled over. (not the local ones) This man was pulled over.

Polis : You tahu you sudah melebihi had laju??
Man : ( just going 50km/h) Tak adalah tuan, Saya jalan 50 saja.
Polis: Awak tahu had laju sini 40 saja??
Man: ya kah?? (unsure but dare not argue)
Polis: apa macam?? Ini denda 200 tahu?
Man: Tolonglar...

CENSORED The man continued his journey thankful that it's just 50. The policeman even told the man to be careful because the speed limit 40km/j stretched from here to the bridge. There might be other blocks...

Nearing the bridge, the man saw the sign ..... Had laju: 80km/j. No wonder outstation plates were the only ones pulled over!!

How low can ppl stoop har??

Hey Cocka, I want to ask you.. how do you know where I work, and what is Seng Kor's real name?

Do you know us? Do we work in the same company?

Helen.....in my case it was;

Cop: **purposely ask me to wind down the window and engage me in conversation**
Selamat malam cik. Nak pergi mana?

Me: Balik hotel.

Cop: Cik, kamu ada bau arak. Sila tiup kat ini breath analyser tester.
**Pooof!! ...Ping! Positive..**

Me: **thinking to myself: Niamah**

Cop: Ini kesalahan besar ni. Mesti lokap, lepas sudah sober kena pergi court, denda RM3,000 dan demerit points.

Me: Jangan lah sampai itu macam. Tolong lah...
**thinking oh fark! Tonite is Friday nite. Tomorrow no court summore! Stay in lokap until Monday ah? Diu...no way!

Cop: Macam mana nak tolong?

Me: Settle sini lah... RM200

Cop:Mana boleh? bisa orang kasi RM300

Me: skalang ekonomi tidak bagus lah, kasi chance lah.

Cop: tak boleh, saya mau tanya saya mya boss dulu.

Me: Ai!!! tak payah tanya lah...buat susah susah saja. Nah ambil lah..

Checking with some of my customers, it is indeed RM300 for drink driving....but on one instance, I actually got away with RM200.

I am lost liao, reading the comments and post, dunno what to comment. But just wanna tell you hor, I read your Lin Peh screwing poodle aloud and laugh so hard. I can never be a comedian because I start laughing BEFORE I even reach that line. So, there...your story recorded.

Now I know why everybody like to read everybody, such a wide variety of people here!! So what's the age group distribution like over here??? *peering to see how old everyone is..*

Le Coq - you mean the policeman dare wear the "Saya Anti-Rasuah" badge and still not anti-rasuah??? yeah, rrriigghhttt. I'll just paste a bumper sticker on my car that says "I am trained driver"..like as though there are other types of drivers... Baarger...someone just made a bundle making those badges..

Hi Kat....actually I have no idea what's the span of the age group. perhaps you like to enlighten me?
No, they were not wearing that anti rasuah badge, but I suppose they would have taken the 'kopi money'anyway.
Perhaps they should also have a "I'm a trained woman driver" sticker hor?
**ouch!! no kidding ,kidding...arghhh!!!** as cocka kena wallop by all the women drivers here. LOL
